Karl Friedrich

Karl Friedrich, 66, of Camas, WA., was born to the late Oleta and Carl Friedrich on July 16, 1946 and was raised in Tyler, TX.  He graduated from John Tyler high School in 1965.

He was a feature and news writer for the Tyler Morning Telegraph from 1966 to 1968 when he moved to California to continue his jouralism career.  In 2007 he moved to Camas, WA. with his wife and fulfilled his lifelong goal of becoming a published novelist in 2011.

Integrity, courage, and determination mixed with intelligence, charm, humor and compassion begin to describe Karl.  His was an adventurous life well lived.

Karl passed away on Dec. 18, 2012, and is held especially close in the hearts of his wife, Rhonda of Camas, Wa.; his niece, Renee' Cole of Tyler; nephew, Joe Leguenec of Austin; other family members, Elizabeth Gracey of Erie, Co.; Ann Peveto, Robert and Debbie Peveto, John Peveto of Tyler; friends, Dorothy Bowen of Tyler, Buck Bowen of Pittsburg, Pa., and Carys Bowen of Hickory, N.C.; and countless other family and friends..
