With deep sadness and our condolences on behalf of JTHS65, we announce the death of our Classmate Lee Michael Holden, 73, of Baytown, who passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020, in Baytown, Texas.

Lee was born August 9, 1946 in Seattle, Washington, to parents; Bob and Nettie Ruth Barbee Holden, and has resided in the Baytown/Crosby area throughout his life.  He was a graduate of the John Tyler High School, had attended Tyler Junior College, attended both First Baptist Crosby and Second Baptist Baytown, and a retired UPS Driver after 31 years.  During his employment with UPS, he worked out of the Baytown and Crosby areas, loved the job and his customers, and made sure their packages we always delivered promptly.  Throughout his military career, he was a veteran of the US Navy with service during Vietnam and a member of the American Legion.  Lee also enjoyed collecting coins, metal detecting, and military history. 

Mr. Holden was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years:  Debbie Nichols Holden, sons:  Chad Michael Fason and Shaun Kevin Holden and wife Nicole, daughter:  Kayce Lyn Jenkins and husband Stephen, sister:  Sherry Hansford, brothers:  Lon Holden and Dale Holden, grandchildren:  Courtney, Micah, and Trevor Fason, Cianna, Loralai, Izaac, and Xander Holden, Noah and Layla Jenkins, great-grandchildren:  Makena and Mahari, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, May 16, 2020, at the Crespo & Jirrels Funeral Home Chapel in Baytown 6123 Garth Road Baytown, TX 77521.  A Private interment will follow at a later date at the Houston National Cemetery.

I am so very sorry to hear of Lee's passing.
Seems like we knew each other for ever.
My mother and his were very close friends.
