Carolyn was a part of the group that met before class in Mrs. McMullen's room, so I was fortunate to spent lots of time in her company. I remember her well and have several good stories involving her. Most vivid are my memories of her as a peacemaker. Whenever a squabble would emerge between her friends it caused her pain. She would work hard to bring about reconciliation and was remarkably successful  My mental picture of Carolyn has her standing between two friends with her arms around both. Reserved for herself, when she was your friend you were blessed.
