I ran into Michael at a baseball game a couple of years before he passed away. He was keeping score in a little league game that my son was playing in. I went over and visited with him for a few minutes between innings. He was just such a nice guy. Always had a smile and something nice to say.

I will always remember michael ball , he was the smartest guy in school and probably the most popular. but he always took the time to stop and chat with me about whatever was going on at the time. he made me feel wanted when I did not feel it at the time. he taught me my first lesson in honesty. he found a 20 dollar bill in the gym lockers. and went to everyone  in the gym and asked if they had lost some money. I  thought that was crazy, but years later I found out.  thats what real men do.

Mike Ball was a wonderful friend and a very successful businessman. In 1975 we lived in SW Houston and were trying to sell our home and move to NW Houston. I opened the door to house lookers and it was Mike and Cheryl (sp?). We later moved to NW Houston and lived about .25 miles from Mike and Cheryl. Cheryl is a very classy person and they had a wonderful marriage of 27 years. As I recall, Mike had developed a computer company and sold it for a very large profit. I miss him and think of both of them often. I've lost track of Cheryl, but I'm going to try and locate her and tell her about the memorial service. Cheryl was a Robert E. Lee graduate. ---- Quinn Edmondson.
