With Sadness we report the death of our Classmate Linda Cain Trull.

Linda Trull, 76, of Gilmer, Texas, went home to her Lord on Thursday, December 15, 2022, in Longview, Texas.

Linda Beth Cain Trull was born November 9, 1946, to Herschell Howard and Martha Gwendolyn Cain in Tyler, Texas. She attended John Tyler High School and married Michael Trull on July 15, 1972. 

She was the chief of the Nellis Air Force Base telephone switchboard for 17 years, and became friends with the USAF Thunderbirds. Linda baked and decorated Thunderbird cakes for all of their special occasions. Along with her best friend Sharon, they dressed as clowns and visited hospitals, schools, and welcomed home returning military members.

When Mike retired, they came back to Upshur County, where Linda worked at the Gilmer WalMart. After retirement, she was active in the Gilmer Area Senior Center, the American Legion Auxiliary, and New Way Country Church. Mike and Linda celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in July of 2022.

Linda was a friend to Many.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Trull; daughter, Paula Hale; sons, Jon Daron Moore, Stephen Trull, Joshua Trull; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Bob Cain and many other relatives.

A private interment will be held at Reed Cemetery in Diana, Texas.
