It is with deep sadness we share that our Classmate David Philpot "died of a heart attack among other issues" October 17, 2024.

His son, Jason, posted the following Facebook message to the JTHS65 Facebook page.

Hello, my name is Jason Philpot, I am David Philpot's son. I'm on my wife's account on here because I don't have a FB account. I just happened to be looking up Bill Ferguson's phone number for over a month now and came across this post on Google. It's with great sadness that I tell all of dads friends that he loved so much, that David passed away on October 17 of this year from a heart attack, among other issues. Dad is finally free and out of pain, will be missed very much. Throughout my life, I've heard all of your names, dad loved you all so much.
