Mike was our quarter back and John Ripley was our half back at Hogg jr. hi. and I played halfback if ripley ever got hurt.which he did not. Mike was our hero, he was all american guy. one day during a scrimmage game mike and I hit head on running full speed. they said it sounded like a shot gun blast.it knocked mike out, and cut my face in two places and needed several stitches. every time I saw mike at J.T. he would remind me of our collision . he left us so early in his life, but will always be remembered as our hero.
